2026-27 The Valley Sweep Stakes

This is the season ending party to give people a chance to gloat, cry and rehash all those close (and not so close) games experienced throughout the season.

Description This bonspiel event is OPEN to all curling clubs across the Ottawa Valley.

Bonspiel Format

The action kicks off Friday, December 11th at 6 PM and continues all day Saturday.

Your entry also includes Mama’s Place pizza lunch and a SmokeBox catered dinner, followed by a Saturday night party with live entertainment from the Ottawa Duelling Pianos!

Friends and family can get in on the fun too, with tickets available for the entertainment starting at 7 PM Saturday night. Tickets for the entertainment are $30. Please register here.

Round up your team, represent your club, and get registered before the 16 spots are gone!

About The Club

Curling has been an integral part of the lives of the residents of the Mississippi Mills area for over 150 years. The Almonte Curling Club was established in 1855, and is the eighth oldest curling club in North America. The current four-sheet facility attached to the Almonte Arena at 160 Bridge Street opened in 1989.
