Welcome to ACC curling 2024/2025
We hope you all enjoyed your summer and are now excited to hit the ice.
A very big welcome to the people joining our club for the first time. We’ re sure you’ll have a wonderful experience and gain a passion for this ever-growing sport.
Almonte Curling Club members have been active at the club throughout the off season. Our new chiller plant is up and running. We’ve signed a new lease, added new leagues, and installed new flooring and applied fresh paint in the lounge. We have purchased new high-top tables, assigned new convenors and still had time to hit a few golf balls!
I’m especially proud to tell you that we have an updated Almonte Curling Club logo. You’ll see it on our website, Facebook and other digital media, on club signs, and available for new merchandise as we implement it over the year. A big thanks to Wendy Moenig for this professional package.
With all of the Ontario Not For Profit Regulations behind us and our new form of governance ratified at our General Meeting, we are able this year to focus on the game we love so much. An emphasis on curling etiquette will be front and center. We’ll be reminding you of the simple things you can do to help the game move smoothly so that getting 8 ends in should be easy peasy.
