President's Message

From the Hack

And that's a wrap.

What a fantastic year of curling and camaraderie. I can't begin enough to thank the dozens and dozens of volunteers that gave of their time to ensure that this past season was one of our best.

Our bonspiels were record-setting in attendance and charitable donations. Not only did we benefit from the fun and laughter of a bonspiel but the Almonte General Hospital and local food bank were able to share in your generosity.

Our new flooring, freshly painted lobby and the ever-growing amount of ACC apparel added to the positive atmosphere that we witnessed this year.

Our organization is growing rapidly and we welcome the many new faces joining the ranks. It's truly wonderful to see.

A huge shout out to our generous sponsors. Please support them and let them know you are a member of the Almonte Curling Club.

The ACC never sleeps. As we grow, we will continuously evaluate the way we operate and the leagues necessary to provide the best curling opportunities to facilitate this ever-increasing membership. The Club is always looking at ways to enhance your experience.

It has been my pleasure to represent the ACC as president. I hope you all have a wonderful summer and I look forward to seeing you this fall for what I hope will be our best season yet.

Don.
